Triple X @ Chelt Lit Fest

The internationally-known Cheltenham Literature Festival ended at the weekend after a record-breaking run. Authors and speakers as varied as John Cleese, Grayson Perry, Kazuo Ishiguru, Caitlin Moran and Henry Winkler  came from all over the world to entertain some 20,000 people. I was lucky enough to see hugely entertaining talks by Dame Judi Dench and former-Sex Pistol John Lydon. Then, last Sunday, I attended a lively festival debate on the current state of pornography, and spent the afternoon with my gorgeous friend Linzi Drew. Bristolian, like me,  Linzi was once the forthright UK editor of Penthouse and appeared in hundreds of photo-shoots around the world. On the big screen Linzi had cameo roles in Emmanuelle in Soho and John Landis’ An American Werewolf in London, but now devotes most of her time to her teenage son, the award-winning actor Tyger Drew-Honey. Linzi and I first worked together in 1999, and she’s as funny and warm-hearted as ever. Here we are outside a big white tent…
